Entries from Europe and the Commonwealth Prints were received from Austria, Prussia, USA, Germany, Holland, Canada, India, Hungary, Russia, France and Sweden. A set of six photographs "by usual process with Dallmeyer's Objectives" was received from Francis Kozmata, Budapest, Photographer to the Royal Court of Austro-Hungary. |

Some of the letters accompanying the entries for the 1876 Exhibition were very brief and simple. Others were more elaborate. Here is an entry from Budapest:
